Why does this matter to CALWOF?

The United States is the second-largest consumer of animals illegally trafficked in the world.  With the increase in poaching due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the Illegal Trafficking Unit of the DFW Law Enforcement Division will be investigating new cases within California.  This team investigates all wild animals illegal trafficked, whether native to California, the US or on the global market. This article helps spotlight the immense job scope that the women and men on the Thin Green Line contend with every day.
